Working together to heal your inner ecosystem
I am a licensed psychotherapist practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area. I use an integrative and holistic approach that facilitates healing and growth with an emphasis on the felt sense of the body; an awareness of the patterns of the mind; and support in experiencing the fullness of your emotions in a safe container.
I bring an eclectic approach to my work, drawing on various somatic (body-oriented) and psychodynamic approaches and practices, with attachment theory being my primary theoretical lens. I work with a diverse population of people, taking into consideration multicultural issues and sensitivities when working with you.
I believe that like all things in nature, humans have a self-organizing and healing capacity. We are wired for growth and love. I work collaboratively with you to help you connect with this natural capacity and use it in healing your psychic wounds, so that you may live a happier, more connected life.
While I do work from a place of hope and inspiration, I am not afraid to be with your pain. I have gone through my own healing process and I am gifted at providing a safe and warm space for the wide range of your feelings to be felt and processed, compassionately meeting you right where you are to bring about the changes you want for yourself.

In our sessions, I work experientially with you, helping to engage and foster more than just your mind; I encourage your connection to your body, mind, and soul. I also work to find ways to support you in deepening your connection to the natural world as part of your healing and awakening process. Therapy involves the dynamic experience of healing and letting go of old and painful ways of being, while encountering and making room for new healthier parts of yourself to emerge that have been previously unknown.
